I was in LA American District 13 for the whole event, Grenth won, prezzies dropped, grenchies ran amok among us, the whole nine yards. No one got hats. (This was the 3:00 AM Pacific time event)

Just a random thought one of my guildies had. Could this be down to wearing/not wearing one of the new costumes? We were both wearing ours.

Of course, I could be barking up the wrong tree completely.

As per the other thread, "I have both hats but it happened twice that I did not recieve a hat. My fiance is missing 1 hat and 3 times now it has f-cked up for her. :\ "

Well. That's my story. Thanks, Arena.Net. If this continues there will be a LOT of angry people. Arena.Net should extend how long the hats are given out... That or allow them to pick one up from a special NPC..... :\

2 accounts, 1 in LA euro d2 had no ccs. The other in LA euro d9 with ccs. No hats.

nope. i was wearing my costume for the midnight drop and got my hat in LA intd2 but not for the 3am drops.

Looks like a majority of the American (and probably other) LA districts didn't get hats, especially from what I saw people saying about the other districts in local chat. Oh well, hopefully they fix it next round.

Kamadan ad20 for midnight event, Dwayna won by a landslide = no hats
LA ad28 for 3 am event, Dwayna by a landslide = no hats
port to Kamadan ad58 where event has not started, Dwayna wins
...and ya, no hats
but plenty of presents and peeved off ppl

Same 3x now...

First time was Kamadan dist 43 for Greneth, no hat. Arrived part way through.

Second time was LA, was there 1 hour before Greneth, after presents were done no hat for anyone in the district. District was dist 21 and was full or near full.

Now in Kamadan dist 40 and dwayna just left and NO HAT for anyone.

All American districts by the way.

First event:

Got both hats in LA
Moved to Kam - No hats for either char

Second event (three hours later):
Moved back to LA (right after first event) and no hats again
Moved to Kamadan, one char got a Dwayna hat (D56), other char did not get a hat (D55)

Two chars, computers
Sorry, didn't capture the District numbers in earlier attempts
Arrived in town prior to the beginning of the 'battle' and chose the popular rings

This issue is not unique to Kamadan.

First off, if old hats were made available somehow post-event this wouldn't be much of an issue, but we only get one day to get them ever. Why is ANet too reluctant to add old hats in-game somewhere (especially now that festival hats are worth using out of town)??? Just add all of the old festival hats to the zaishen coin traders or something. Zcoins need some sort of boost and this would be perfect.

I don't expect this finale to run again. Short-term, just add both of the new hats to the Wintersday Gift Giver collectors or something. 5 Candy Cane Shards for a hat wouldn't kill anyone.

I did manage to get Grenth's hat when he came by around at 12am pst in Lion's Arch - American District 3. I didn't get Dwyana's when I zoned into Kamadan - American District 30 right after I picked up Grenth's... :/

3 hours later...

I'm in Lion's Arch - American District 70, I waited in there for a couple hours before Dwyana showed up, when it finishes... I didn't recieve my hat. I quickly then zoned into Kamadan - American District 50, still nothing... Not a single hat from either districts I was in. ARGH... Seriously... I want my hat so I could go to sleep!

My boyfriend got both of his hats! He was in the same districts with me at all times.

No hats on two accounts... LA AD69 and Scamadan AD31. Both accounts got the Dwayna hat in LA AD3x during the first event.

Kamadan American english dist 59 no hats, was supposed to be grenth. Guildies also received no hats. I did get presents. I was there 2 hours before start.

EDIT: My neighbor and his daughter were in Lions arch and did not get their dwayna hats either, so this is not just a Kamadan issue.
